I’ve been listing my stuff on a thread over at the Whispers of Wickedness boards, but since they’re shuffling off the mortal coil next year I figured I’d better stagger into the 21st Century and get myself a blog. No good will come of it. I hate technology and it hates me.

Believe me Jim, this blogging is a hideous business. After a while, desperation to get someone to look at your blog sets in, and you put out all the skeletons from your wardrobe – only to morally repulse the few friends that you had and stop them ever talking to you. Of course, I only speak from personal experience… And then you will be attacked by machines writing obscene adverts as comments, which will get you into trouble with the police. Happened to me. And then your employers will read the blog and use it as the excuse they have been looking for to sack you. And then your blog provider will have technical difficulties and you will lose the product of years of hard work, emotional blood and genuine tears. And your so-called friends will laugh with schaedenfreud as the Nigerian tax authorities come and get you for being an witless cog in an international financial scam. And as you lose you family and prison life beckons, your last few shreds of self respect will be painfully torn from you in strips of dripping crimson. Yes! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! To the world of blogging. I will monitor your career with interest.
