I know, but…..
Well…
Well, I was hoping that the wee man would win, but suspected if he didn’t then Nina Allan would, so slightly surprised, but not about the novel winner.
Yeah, it would have been nice but, unless he gets hit by a bus tomorrow, I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t pick up one of the major awards at some stage. And — yes — it was great to see Ian winning. Well deserved, too.
